The long awaited Price Discrimination and Buyer Power Regulations (Regulations) were published for comment on 10 October 2019 by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Ebrahim Patel. Comments to the Regulations are required to be submitted within 28 days from publication. The closing date for submissions is 7 November 2019. Once the public comments have been taken into account, it is envisaged that a final set of Regulations will be published, accompanied by the promulgation of the price discrimination and buyer power amendments.
